Founded in 1974 in Bergamo, Northern Italy, Caberg is literally a shortening of the Italian for Helmets from Bergamo - Caschi di Bergamo.
In the early 90's Caberg saw the potential of the motorcycle touring market and became the first Italian company, and the second worldwide, to introduce a flip front, or modular, helmet to the market.
Caberg helmets are constantly innovating; the company was the first to introduce a helmet which could be converted from a flip front to an open face and in 2014 they announced the world's first flip front dual-sport helmet.
Caberg have pioneered the dual-homologation, P/J CE certification, so that their helmets can be worn legally in the open position when riding.
Caberg also have some unusual helmets in their range; the Caberg Ghost is such a helmet, an open face helmet which has a flip front visor and face mask which is also removeable giving the rider ultimate control in their 'streetfighter' style.
Synonymous with Italian style and design, Caberg are at the forefront of motorcycle helmet technical evolution. Their premises in Bergamo has an on-site test laboratory where all materials, parts and helmets are subjected to conformity tests to ensure the highest levels of safety.
This production testing has to date earned eight of their helmets 5 out of 5 stars with the Department for Transport's SHARP safety rating for quality and safety.
