The Alpinestars SMX-5 Motorcycle boots feature a durable, high-tech microfibre upper construction offering high flexibility. Double-injected PU shields the shin, ankle, calf, toe, and heel to protect from impacts while minimising abrasion. Inner protection is given by a double-injected panel connected to the heel counter, hidden beneath the outer shell and running up the outer ankle. The quick-drying polyamide lining is laminated with open-cell foam, and high-density contoured padding absorbs shocks to the foot area. The S-MX 5 boasts CE certification with innovative air vents at the ankle, heel and forefoot, which are covered with a specially designed mesh to provide unmatched levels of rider comfort. Large throat profile instep and Achilles flex bellows give superior flex and comfort, and an MTP mesh liner and anatomical, removable, PU Foam foot bed keep the foot cool and comfortable. An innovative inner (medial) side entry opening/closure system with an elastically mounted zip with an extra wide Velcro flap gives a precise, comfortable fit and a wide opening aperture for easy access. Alpinestars' exclusive compound rubber sole features structured shank reinforcement for added support to the arch area, and an interchangeable bi-injected PU toe slider with snap-in assembly gives additional protection.
