The Alpinestars SMX Plus boots have rasied performance and safety to a new unmatched level with their innovative design, structural protection and comfort. These fantastic boots are constructed from lorica and upper leather and feature a contoured shin plate protector which is injected with high modulus PU for superior and abrasion resistance, a U shaped calf protector for impact resistance and this protects the ankle and calf area. Additional protection is provided by the top recessed buckle structure. These also feature interchangeable bi-injected PU toe sliders with snap-in assembly, wede and ventilated heel which extends to the ankles and is combined with a shock absorbing padded insert and self-moulding foam ankle protectors, replaceable sliders at the back and external section of the heel to allow the boot to slide and absorb shocks, a large instep flex zone for maximum comfort and flexibility, instep speed lacing closure, replaceable ratchet buckle closure and a unique lateral zip, synthetic forefoot lining which is laminated with open cell foam, highly breathable lining on ankle and leg areas plus the Alpinestars anatomical footbed which provides arch support and forefoot pedal feeling (with supersensitive sole for extra feeling without losing protection)
