The IXS Stunt Textile Motorcycle Jacket comes with an airbag!! This is the only one of its kind and is constructed from 500 Denier Cordura and 500 Denier Airdura and features an antiseptic M-7 nylon lining, shoulders and elbows with DYNAX appliques, removable SoloTex Z-liner membrane, Tecnofoam back protection, reusable airbag, ventilation openings, removable thermal lining with aluminium coating, ergonomically shaped, adjustable width sleeves for variable fit, 1 inner and 3 outer pockets. The IXS Stunt is the motorcycle jacket with an airbag! The airbag, which has been proven to be the most effective safety system for road users, has only been available to car drivers -until now. The IXS Stunt Jacket now also enables motorcyclists to enjoy the added safety offered by an airbag. The airbag, an integral part of the jacket, is triggered by means of a ripcord attached to the motorcycle. The trigger mechanism activates a CO2 cartridge, inflating the airbag within half a second. The airbag remains inflated for 30 seconds, protecting the motorcyclists neck, spine, collarbone and breastbone as well as the kidney regions and coccyx. In summer this jacket can be worn without a membrane thanks to the excellent breathability of the outer material which ensures unrestricted wearer comfort even in hot conditions. You need not forgo the safety offered by the airbed and protectors. If the weather turns wet or cold the membrane, and if neccessary, the thermal lining can be added.
